Snuzhat Care products are handcrafted in small batches in Calgary. Small-batch making allows us to stay close to the process—from weighing the first ingredient to filling the finished product.

How a batch comes together

While the exact process depends on the product, our workflow can include carefully weighing ingredients, preparing separate phases, heating and emulsifying where required, cooling the formula, adding temperature-sensitive ingredients, blending, checking the finished batch and filling the final containers.

Checks that fit the formula

For products where pH is relevant, we check and adjust it as part of the making process. Water-based formulas are preserved appropriately, and batch information is recorded so the process can be followed consistently.

Small-batch does not mean improvised

Handmade skincare should still be systematic. We work from written formulations and measured quantities rather than mixing by eye. Each ingredient is included for a reason, and the process is adapted to the needs of the specific formula.
