By visiting our website, creating an account, submitting information, or purchasing a product from us, you use our “Services” and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the website, including browsers, customers and individuals who submit reviews, feedback or other content.

Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using our website. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not access the website or use the Services.

Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to offer our products and Services.

Section 1 — Eligibility and Online Store Use

By using the Services, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your province, territory, state or country of residence, or that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required.

You may not use our website, products or Services for any illegal, fraudulent or unauthorized purpose. You must not violate any applicable law while using the Services, including laws relating to intellectual property, privacy, fraud, ecommerce or consumer protection.

You must not transmit viruses, malicious code, automated attacks or any other material intended to damage, disrupt or interfere with the operation or security of the website.

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders or limit purchases where reasonably necessary and permitted by applicable law, including in cases involving suspected fraud, unauthorized resale, abusive conduct, payment issues, inaccurate customer information or violations of these Terms.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Services, website content or access to the Services without our prior written permission.

Headings are included for convenience and do not limit or affect the interpretation of these Terms.

Section 3 — Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information presented on our website is accurate and current. However, occasional errors, omissions or outdated information may occur.

Product information, ingredient descriptions, photographs, availability, pricing, promotions and other website content may be corrected or updated at any time.

Information provided on the website is for general product and educational purposes. It should not be relied upon as medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Nothing on the website is intended to replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Section 4 — Products and Handmade Variations

Snuzhat Care products are handcrafted in small batches. Slight variations in colour, shape, scent, texture, weight, botanical placement or decorative appearance may occur.

These natural handmade variations do not affect the intended use of the product and are not considered defects.

We make reasonable efforts to display product colours and images accurately. However, colours may appear differently depending on lighting, photography and individual screen settings.

Product packaging, labels or decorative details may occasionally change without materially affecting the formula, quantity or intended use of the product.

Certain products may be available exclusively online, offered in limited quantities or discontinued without notice.

Section 5 — Cosmetic Use and Product Safety

Snuzhat Care products are cosmetic, skincare, bath, body-care and personal-care products intended for external use only unless expressly stated otherwise.

Always follow the instructions provided on the product page, packaging or label.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the complete ingredient list before purchasing and using a product, especially when they have known allergies, sensitivities or ingredient restrictions.

We recommend performing a patch test before using a new skincare or body-care product more widely.

Discontinue use if irritation, discomfort or an unexpected reaction occurs. Seek appropriate medical advice if symptoms are serious or persistent.

Avoid direct contact with the eyes unless the product is specifically intended for use near the eye area. Keep products out of reach of children.

Bath oils, salts, bombs, scrubs and other bath products may make the bathtub or shower surface slippery. Use appropriate caution when entering or exiting.

Individual results, experiences and skin responses vary. We do not guarantee that a product will produce a particular cosmetic result or be suitable for every individual.

Section 6 — Ingredients and Product Information

Complete ingredient lists are provided on individual product pages or product packaging.

Some products may contain fragrance, essential oils, botanical ingredients, colourants, preservatives, emulsifiers or honey-derived ingredients such as Honeyquat.

Not all Snuzhat Care products are vegan.

Products described as halal-friendly are formulated with halal-conscious ingredient selection in mind but are not independently halal-certified unless specifically stated.

Customers should contact us before purchasing if they require clarification about a specific ingredient.

Section 7 — Prices and Currency

All prices displayed on our Canadian website are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prices, discounts and promotions may change without notice.

Applicable taxes, shipping charges and other order costs are calculated and displayed during checkout before payment is completed.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If an obvious pricing error affects an order, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the corrected price or cancel the affected item and provide a refund.

Section 8 — Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance.

We may decline, limit or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including when:

• A product is unavailable
• Payment cannot be authorized
• Customer information appears incorrect or incomplete
• An obvious pricing or inventory error has occurred
• Fraudulent or unauthorized activity is suspected
• The order appears intended for unauthorized resale
• The order violates these Terms or another store policy

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will issue an appropriate refund to the original payment method.

We may limit quantities purchased per customer, household, account, payment method, billing address or shipping address.

Section 9 — Customer and Billing Information

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate information when placing an order or creating an account.

This includes your name, email address, phone number, billing address, shipping address, apartment or unit number and postal code.

You are responsible for reviewing your information before completing checkout and updating your account information when necessary.

We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries or additional costs caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the customer, except where otherwise required by law.

Section 10 — Payments

Payments are processed through Shopify and authorized third-party payment providers.

We do not directly store complete payment-card information.

By submitting payment information, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and authorize the applicable charges for your order.

Payment processing may be subject to additional terms and privacy practices established by the payment provider.

Section 11 — Shipping and Delivery

Snuzhat Care currently ships within Canada.

Processing times, available shipping methods, delivery estimates, tracking information and responsibilities relating to incorrect addresses or delayed packages are described in our Shipping Policy.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Carrier delays, weather, holidays, remote destinations and circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery.

Risk relating to delivery will be handled in accordance with applicable law and our Shipping Policy.

Section 12 — Cancellations and Order Changes

Customers may request an order cancellation, address correction or order change within 12 hours of placing the order.

We will make reasonable efforts to assist, but changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed once an order has entered processing or has been shipped.

Section 13 — Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

For hygiene and safety reasons, opened, used, tested or unsealed personal-care products cannot be returned or exchanged, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Eligible unopened and unused products may be submitted for return approval within seven days of delivery.

Products must remain in their original packaging and be clean, undamaged and in resalable condition.

Customers must contact us before returning a product. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for approved change-of-mind returns. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

Products that arrive damaged, defective, leaking or incorrect must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with the order number and clear photographs of the product and packaging.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory refund, cancellation, warranty or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Section 14 — Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotions and discount codes may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, dates, exclusions or minimum purchase amounts.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

• Discounts cannot be combined
• Discount codes cannot be applied after an order has been placed
• Discounts do not apply to shipping charges, taxes or gift cards
• Promotions have no cash value
• Promotional offers may be changed or withdrawn before an order is completed

Where a promotion contains separate terms, those promotional terms form part of these Terms.

Section 15 — Gift Cards

Gift cards, if offered, may be used only through the Snuzhat Care website and cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.

Customers are responsible for protecting gift-card codes from unauthorized use.

Gift-card terms, balances and expiry requirements will be governed by applicable law and any additional terms presented when the gift card is purchased.

Section 16 — Optional and Third-Party Tools

We may provide access to third-party tools, services, applications, payment systems, social-media integrations or other features that we do not own or control.

These tools are provided subject to the terms and privacy policies of the applicable third party.

We are not responsible for third-party tools, websites or services except to the extent required by law.

Your use of an optional third-party tool is at your discretion, and you should review the third party’s terms before using it.

Section 17 — Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to websites or platforms operated by third parties.

We are not responsible for examining, verifying or guaranteeing the accuracy, security, availability or content of third-party websites.

We are not responsible for purchases, transactions, communications or losses involving a third-party website.

Questions or complaints relating to third-party products or services should be directed to the applicable third party.

Section 18 — Reviews, Feedback and Customer Content

You may choose to submit reviews, photographs, testimonials, comments, suggestions or other content.

You retain ownership of the original content you create. By submitting content to us or giving us permission to use it, you grant Snuzhat Care a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to reproduce, edit, publish, display and use that content for operating and promoting the business, subject to applicable privacy law and any permissions agreed with you.

You confirm that content you submit:

• Is accurate and reflects your genuine experience
• Does not infringe another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights
• Does not contain unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, defamatory or misleading material
• Does not contain malicious software, spam or unauthorized advertising
• Does not impersonate another person or misrepresent its source

We may moderate, decline or remove content that violates these Terms, applicable law or platform policies.

We are not obligated to publish every review or submission.

We will not present gifted-product feedback as a verified purchase unless the purchase has been independently verified.

Section 19 — Intellectual Property

All website content, including product names, branding, logos, photographs, graphics, descriptions, designs, packaging concepts, written content and website layout, is owned by or licensed to Snuzhat Care and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, sell or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that Shopify and other authorized service providers may process information as described in the Privacy Policy.

We do not guarantee that the website will meet every user’s expectations or that all technical errors will be corrected immediately.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our responsibility will be limited only to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or limits any warranty, remedy, right or protection available under applicable consumer-protection law.

Section 26 — Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Snuzhat Care harmless from third-party claims, losses or reasonable legal costs arising directly from:

• Your unlawful use of the website or Services
• Your material breach of these Terms
• Content you submit that infringes another person’s rights
• Fraudulent activity carried out through your account

This section does not apply to losses caused by Snuzhat Care’s own negligence, misconduct or breach of law.

Section 27 — Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, carrier disruptions, labour disputes, government actions, supply interruptions, internet outages, public-health emergencies or failures of third-party service providers.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays and complete or refund affected orders where appropriate.

These Terms remain effective while you access or use the Services.

You may stop using the Services at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in unlawful or harmful conduct, or created a security or fraud risk.

Any rights, payment obligations or liabilities that arose before termination will continue where their nature requires them to survive.

Section 29 — Severability

If a provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted or severed where necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.

A waiver is effective only when clearly provided by us in writing.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Return and Refund Policy and any other policies or terms displayed on the website, form the entire agreement governing your use of the Services.

They replace prior communications or versions relating to the same subject matter.

If a specific promotion or service has additional terms, those terms apply together with these Terms.

These Terms and any separate agreements through which we provide Services are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable within Alberta.

This section does not limit any mandatory consumer protection available to a customer based on their place of residence.

Subject to those mandatory rights, the courts of Alberta will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or the Services.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, business practices, policies or legal obligations.

The revised Terms will be posted on the website with an updated revision date.

Your continued use of the Services after revised Terms are posted means that the revised Terms apply to future use, subject to applicable law.
